Geng Yan

Geng Yan (Hanzi: 耿弇; 3–58 M) merupakan seorang jenderal Tiongkok kuno yang hidup pada zaman Dinasti Han Timur. Ia adalah putra Geng Kuang (耿況), yang menjabat sebagai gubernur Shanggu Jun (上谷, kira-kira Zhangjiakou modern, Hebei). Ia awalnya melayani Kaisar Guangwu dari Han sebagai juru tulis; kemudian ia menjadi salah satu jenderal terpenting kaisar dan berjasa pada pendirian Dinasti Han akhir. Kaisar Ming menghormati Geng di antara mereka yang telah melayani ayahandanya dengan baik dengan melukis potret mereka di menara istana (云台二十八将, 28 Jenderal Yuntai); Potret Geng ditempatkan pada posisi keempat.
