Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle

Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (biasanya dikenal dengan singkatan, GSLV) adalah sistem peluncuran sekali pakai yang dioperasikan oleh Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Hal ini dikembangkan untuk memungkinkan India untuk meluncurkan INSAT -jenis satelit ke orbit geostasioner dan membuat India kurang bergantung pada roket asing.

GSLV telah mencapai tujuh peluncuran sampai saat ini, sejak diluncurkan pertama kali pada tahun 2001 melalui peluncuran terbaru pada tahun 2010. Dua peluncuran telah berhasil, dengan satu peluncuran sebagian berhasil. Empat peluncuran telah gagal. Penerbangan kedelapan untuk GSLV dijadwalkan untuk awal 2013.
