Gerald Verner

Gerald Verner (1897–1980) adalah seorang penulis cerita seru, yang menulis lebih dari 120 novel yang diterjemahkan ke dalam lebih dari 35 bahasa.[1] Beberapa karyanya diadaptasi dalam serial radio, drama panggung dan film.

Biografi

Verner lahir dengan nama John Robert Stuart Pringle di Streatham, London pada 31 Januari 1897 dan wafat di Broadstairs, Kent, Inggris pada 16 September 1980.

Ia juga menulis drama-drama panggung termasuk adaptasi-adaptasi "The Urgent Hangman" karya Peter Cheyney ke dalam "Meet Mr. Callaghan" (1952) (difilmkan pada 1954) dan karya cerita seru Agatha Christie "Towards Zero" (1956).
