Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society adalah sebuah film anime Jepang tahun 2006 yang disutradarai oleh Kenji Kamiyama. Film tersebut merupakan lanjutan dari seri Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex yang diadaptasi dari manga karya Masamune Shirow. Film tersebut mengisahkan tentang kasus-kasus misterius yang dihadapi oleh Section 9, unit keamanan publik yang kini dipimpin oleh Togusa setelah Motoko Kusanagi meninggalkan tim. Dalam film ini, para anggota Section 9 berhadapan dengan seorang hacker genius yang dijuluki “The Puppeteer”. Hacker ini ternyata memiliki rencana besar yang melibatkan virus mikromesin, anak-anak terkutuk yang merupakan korban dari eksperimen ilegal, dan fenomena Solid State Society yang mengancam stabilitas dunia. Dengan plot yang penuh teka-teki, film ini menampilkan sepak terjang Section 9 untuk mengungkap identitas dan motif The Puppeteer.[1]
