Gniezno (dalam bahasa Jerman Gnesen) ialah sebuah kota di Polandia tengah di provinsi Polandia Besar, barat letaknya 50 km timur laut Poznań. Kota ini berakar pada 600-an dan juga ibu kota Polandia Abad Pertengahan sampai 1038 saat dipindahkan ke Kraków. Kursi Keuskupan Agung sejak kunjungan Otto III tahun 1000. Mendapat hak kota pada 1239.
