Gnumeric adalah perangkat lunak lembar kerja yang merupakan bagian dari Proyek Desktop Perangkat Lunak Bebas GNOME. Gnumeric versi 1.0 dirilis pada 31 Desember 2001. Gnumeric didistribusikan sebagai perangkat lunak bebas di bawah Lisensi Publik Umum GNU; perangkat lunak ini dimaksudkan untuk menggantikan program spreadsheet berpemilik seperti Microsoft Excel. Gnumeric dibuat dan dikembangkan oleh Miguel de Icaza,[2] tetapi kemudian dia pindah ke proyek lain. Pemelihara pada tahun 2002 adalah Jody Goldberg.[3]

Gnumeric has been coded mainly by Miguel de Icaza, with help from other intrepid hackrs that have contributed code, bug fixes and documentation.
