Google Page Creator

Google Page Creator merupakan program publikasi lewat web, digunakan untuk membuat situs web lengkap dengan fasilitas hosting di server Google.[1] Aplikasi ini memiliki sejumlah alat perancang situs web tingkat dasar, tanpa perlu kemampuan HTML. Sejak Agustus 2008, Google Pages telah memiliki lebih dari 3 juta pelanggan.[1]

September 2008, Google mengumumkan bahwa Page Creator tidak lagi membuka pendaftaran pengguna baru, dan menyarankan pengguna untuk menggunakan Google Sites.[1] Google berencana menutup Page Creator meski sudah memiliki banyak pengguna.[1] Saat ini, page Creator sudah tidak dapat diakses atau ditutup (http://pages.google.com Diarsipkan 2011-11-18 di Wayback Machine.).

Google Page Creator ditutup pada bulan Juni 2009, dengan semua akun yang bermigrasi ke Google Sites pada akhir Desember 2009.[2] Untuk membuat transisi ke Situs dan mudah bagi pengguna Page Creator, Google Sites akan melakukan suatu impor otomatis dari halaman ke Google Page Creator Sites, yang akan mencakup pindah halaman ke Google Sites dan mengarahkan kunjungan ke URL googlepages.com.[2]
