Greg Russo adalah seorang penulis skenario asal Amerika Serikat. Ia dikenal terutama sebagai penulis adaptasi film tahun 2021 dari Mortal Kombat.
Kehidupan awal
Russo menempuh pendidikan di Vassar College setelah lulus dari sekolah menengah di Cherry Hill. Setelah lulus pada tahun 2001, ia tidak segera menemukan pekerjaan di industri film, sehingga selama empat tahun berikutnya bekerja di sebuah perusahaan perekrutan tenaga kerja di New Jersey, sebuah pengalaman yang ia sebut “menguntungkan tetapi menguras jiwa.” Ketika kekasihnya saat itu (yang kini menjadi pasangan hidupnya), Tricia Gonnella, diterima di program pascasarjana Peter Stark Producing Program di University of Southern California pada tahun 2007, mereka kemudian pindah ke Los Angeles.
