Gunung Horeb

Gunung Horeb, Bahasa Ibrani: חֹרֵב, Yunani dalam Septuaginta: χωρηβ, Latin dalam Vulgata: Horeb, adalah sebuah gunung di mana Kitab Deuteronomika dalam Alkitab Ibrani menyatakan bahwa Sepuluh Perintah Allah diberikan kepada Musa oleh Allah. Gunung tersebut dideskripsikan dalam dua tempat (Keluaran 3:1, 1 Raj–Raja 19:8) sebagai הַר הָאֱלֹהִים, "Gunung Allah". Gunung tersebut juga disebut Gunung YHWH.[1]
