Gunung Zulia (atau Lotholia) berada di wilayah Karamoja di timur laut Uganda di Taman Nasional Lembah Kidepo. Gunung Morungole dan Bukit Labwor dan Bukit Dodoth, yang mencapai ketinggian lebih dari 2.000 meter (6.600 ft), berada di dekatnya.[2] Gunung Zulia memiliki tinggi 2.149 meter (7.051 ft).[1]

Orang Toposa di Khatulistiwa Timur mengatakan bahwa mereka berasal dari Pegunungan Lotholia, yang berpindah saat terjadi kekeringan parah yang menewaskan manusia dan hewan.[3] Hutan-hutan di gunung ini sebagian dilindungi oleh Cagar Alam Gunung Zulia.[4]
