HD 168607 adalah pasangan bintang yang tepat di bawah Nebula Omega. Yang lainnya adalah HD 168625.

HD 168607 (V4029 Sgr) adalah Bintang hiper raksasa biru dan variabel biru bercahaya (VBR) yang terletak di konstelasi Sagitarius, mudah diamati dengan teleskop. Bintang ini merupakan bintang pendamping dengan Dari HD 168625, yang juga merupakan variabel hiper raksasa biru dan kemungkinan bercahaya biru, yang dapat dilihat di tenggara M17, Nebula Omega.

Properti
