Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope

Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT) juga dikenal sebagai Insight Insight (Hanzi: 慧眼)[1] adalah observatorium ruang angkasa sinar-X Tiongkok, diluncurkan pada 15 Juni 2017[2] untuk mengamati lubang hitam, bintang neutron, inti galaksi aktif dan fenomena lain berdasarkan emisi sinar-X dan sinar gamma.[3] Ini didasarkan pada platform seri satelit pengintaian citra JianBing 3.

Proyek ini, merupakan kolaborasi bersama dari Kementerian Sains dan Teknologi Tiongkok, Akademi Ilmu Pengetahuan Tiongkok, dan Universitas Tsinghua, telah dikembangkan sejak tahun 2000.

Satelit memiliki tiga muatan, Teleskop sinar-X energi tinggi (20–250 keV), teleskop sinar-X energi menengah (5–30 keV), dan teleskop sinar-X energi rendah (1–15 keV).[4][5]
