Harold Montgomory Budd (24 Mei 1936 – 8 Desember 2020) adalah seorang komposer dan penyair avant-garde Amerika Serikat.[1] Lahir di Los Angeles dan dibesarkan di Gurun Mojave, Budd menjadi komposer yang disegani di kancah minimalis dan avant-garde California Selatan pada akhir 1960-an, dan kemudian menjadi lebih dikenal karena karyanya dengan tokoh-tokoh seperti Brian Eno dan Robin Guthrie.[3]

Budd mengembangkan apa yang disebutnya teknik "pedal lunak" untuk bermain piano.
