Helen Maud Holt

Helen Maud Holt (5 Oktober 1863 – 7 Agustus 1937)[1] dikenal luas dengan nama Mrs Beerbohm Tree lalu Lady Tree, adalah seorang aktris Inggris. Dia adalah istri dari aktor Herbert Beerbohm Tree dan ibu dari Viola Tree, Felicity Tree dan Iris Tree.

Setelah penampilan tahap awal dimulai pada tahun 1883, Nyonya Tree menikah dan menjalin kemitraan teater dengan suaminya, di mana mereka muncul dalam kebangkitan drama klasik dan produksi drama baru, pertama di Theatre Royal, Haymarket dan kemudian di Her Majesty's Theater. Penampilannya dalam peran serius diterima dengan baik, tetapi dia paling terkenal karena karyanya dalam komedi, dari Shakespeare hingga karya baru oleh Wilde dan lainnya.

Setelah suaminya meninggal pada tahun 1917, Lady Tree terus berakting dengan mantap selama hampir dua dekade lebih sampai menjelang akhir hidupnya, dalam drama dan beberapa film, membuat penampilan panggung terakhirnya pada tahun 1935.
