Hexactinellida adalah kelas dari anggota hewan tak bertulang belakang yang termasuk dalam filum Porifera. Golongan ini spikulanya tersusun dari zat kersik dan hidup di laut yang dalam. Hewan ini juga disebut spons gelas. Contoh dari kelas ini adalah Pheronema sp., Euplectella sp. [2]
