Hieronymus Wierix

Sol Justitiae setelah Dürer

Hieronymus Wierix (1553–1619) sebagai pengukir, juru gambar, dan penerbit Flemish. Ia dikenal karena ukiran-ukiran reproduksinya yang meniru karya seniman lokal dan asing yang terkenal, termasuk Albrecht Dürer. Bersama dengan anggota keluarga pengukir Wierix lainnya, ia memainkan peran penting dalam menyebarkan apresiasi terhadap seni Belanda di luar negeri serta dalam menciptakan karya seni yang mendukung tujuan Katolik di Belanda Selatan.[1]
