Hippotragus niger atau yang dikenal sebagai palahala dan mbarapi dalam bahasa Swahili[1] adalah sejenis antelop besar yang berhabitat pada sabana berhutan di Timur dan Afrika Selatan, mulai dari bagian selatan Kenya sampai ke wilayah Afrika Selatan, dengan populasi yang terpisah di Angola [2][3]

Etimologi

Palahala berasal dari kata palahala bahasa Swahili yang merujuk pada nama hewan ini.[4][5]
