Hodotermitidae (dari bahasa Yunani ὁδός (hodós), berpergian; Latin termes, cacing kayu) adalah sebuah famili rayap Dunia Lama basal yang dikenal sebagai rayap pemanen.[1] Mereka dapat dibedakan dengan rayap lainnya dengan tepian dalam mandibula mereka yang bergerigi, dan mata majemuk fungsional yang dapat ditemukan pada semua kasta.[2] Mereka mencari rumput saat malam hari dan pagi hari, sementara pekerja berpigmen[3] umum teramati sedang diluar sarang.[2] Sebaran mereka mencakup gurun-gurun dan sabana-sabana di Afrika, Timur Tengah dan Asia Barat Daya.[1] Namanya merujuk kepada kebiasaan mereka mengumpulkan rumput, yang bukan merupakan ciri khas dari famili ini.[2]
