ISO 15924

ISO 15924 adalah dua set kode untuk sejumlah sistem penulisan (skrip). Setiap skrip diberi kode empat huruf dan satu numerik.[1] Skrip didefinisikan sebagai "set karakter grafis yang digunakan untuk bentuk tertulis dari satu atau lebih bahasa".

Bilamana mungkin, kode-kode tersebut diturunkan dari ISO 639-2 di mana nama skrip dan nama bahasa yang digunakan skrip tersebut identik (contoh: Gujarātī ISO 639 guj, ISO 15924 Gujr) Preferensi akan diberikan pada 639-2 kode Bibliografi, yang berbeda dari penggunaan kode terminologis yang biasa digunakan.
