Idola AV

AV idol atau Adult Video idol (AV女優 (AV joyū); pemeran AV) adalah idola Jepang yang bekerja dalam bisnis pornografi, kadang kala sebagai aktris atau sebagai model dalam dunia hiburan. Sejak lahirnya industri AV pada awal tahun 1980-an, banyak aktris AV (Adult Video) yang mencapai debutnya.

Industri AV di Jepang

Pasar AV (Adult Video) merupakan industri utama di Jepang yang dilaporkan bernilai sekitar ¥ 400 miliar per tahun. Pada tahun 1992, dilaporkan bahwa lebih dari 11 AV diproduksi setiap hari oleh lebih dari 70 perusahaan produksi di Tokyo saja. Pasar AV diperkirakan membentuk komposisi sekitar 30% dari penyewaan video di Jepang.
