Injil Petrus (bahasa Yunani: κατά Πέτρον ευαγγέλιον); bahasa Inggris: Gospel according to Peter adalah salah satu dari tulisan kuno yang bukan termasuk ke dalam Alkitab meskipun disebut sebagai "Injil" dan tergolong ke dalam injil-injil tentang penderitaan Yesus, yang mengandung unsur gnostik, dan termasuk dalam tulisan-tulisan apokrif. Diyakini ditulis bukan oleh Simon Petrus melainkan orang yang memakai namanya bertahun-tahun setelah Petrus meninggal. Naskah ini ditolak sebagai tulisan yang benar oleh jemaat Kristen mula-mula, para bapa gereja dan sinode gereja di Kartage dan Roma.[1]
Penemuan
Merupakan naskah pertama yang ditemukan dari penggalian di Mesir pada tahun 1886 oleh arkeolog Prancis, Urbain Bouriant, di kota modern Akhmim (60 mil (97 km) di utara Nag Hammadi). Naskah yang dibuat pada abad ke-8 atau ke-9 ini termasuk bagian suatu buku kodeks yang dipendam dalam sebuah peti mati bersama mayat seorang biarawan Mesir.[2]
