Internet antarplanet

Internet antarplanet adalah jaringan komputer yang berada di antariksa, terdiri dari satu set node jaringan yang dapat berkomunikasi satu sama lain.[1][2] Node-node ini adalah pengorbit dan pendarat planet, dan stasiun bumi Bumi. Misalnya, pengorbit mengumpulkan data ilmiah dari penjelajah Curiosity di Mars melalui hubungan komunikasi dekat Mars, mengirimkan data ke Bumi melalui tautan langsung dari pengorbit Mars ke stasiun Bumi, dan akhirnya data disalurkan melalui internet internal Bumi.[3]
