Iodopsin

Iodopsin (dikenal juga sebagai Opsin kerucut) adalah protein sel fotoreseptor yang terdapat di sel kerucut pada retina, yang merupakan dasar dari penglihatan warna. Iodopsin memiliki analog yang sangat mirip dengan rhodopsin, yang digunakan untuk penglihatan malam. Iodopsin mengandung protein yang disebut photopsin.
Jenis
Opsin yang berbeda memiliki sedikit perbedaan pada asam amino, dan menyerap cahaya dengan panjang cahaya yang berbeda.
