Isildurs Bane


Isildurs Bane adalah sebuah band progressive rock dari Swedia. Mereka sangat dipengaruhi oleh band-band seperti Gentle Giant, Genesis, Yes dan ELP.

Asal usul nama

Isildurs Bane merupakan salah satu nama dari One Ring, cincin dalam novel The Lord of the Rings karya J. R. R. Tolkien. Ketika band ini dibentuk pada 1976, para anggotanya sangat tertarik pada gaya fantasi dalam buku tersebut sehingga mereka merasa wajar memilih nama tersebut karena ada kaitannya dengan musik mereka.[1]
