JP-7
JP-7 (Jet Propellant 7, MIL-DTL-38219[1]) adalah sebuah bahan bakar jet yang dikembangkan oleh Angkatan Udara AS untuk digunakan dalam pesawat supersonik karena sifat flash pointnya yang tinggi dan stabilitas termal. Ini adalah bahan bakar yang digunakan dalam mesin Pratt & Whitney J58, yang digunakan dalam Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Boeing X-51 Waverider menggunakan bahan bakar JP-7 untuk menjalankan mesin scramjet Pratt & Whitney SJY61, dengan kapasitas bahan bakar dari beberapa £ 270 (120 kg).[2] Seperti SR-71, desain X-51A juga menggunakan bahan bakar untuk menyerap panas dari mesin.[3]
