Jacobus Koos van Hengel

Jacobus "Koos" van Hengel (2 September 1861 – 2 Maret 1928) adalah seorang politikus Belanda yang pernah menjabat sebagai Residen Manado sejak bulan September 1906 hingga bulan September 1910.[1] Dia menggantikan Residen sebelumnya, Steven Jan Matthijs van Geuns dan dia sendiri digantikan oleh Philippe Jules van Marle.[2]

Kehidupan pribadi

Hengel lahir pada tahun 1861 di Semarang. Dia adalah putra dari pasangan Frederik Ulderik van Hengel dan Maria van der Plas.[3] Hengel menikah dengan Simonette Louise Greeuw pada tanggal 28 April 1890 di Hoorn, Belanda, saat dia berusia 29 tahun.[3]
