Jane Avril

Jane Avril (9 Juni 1868 – 31 Januari 1943) merupakan seorang penari Can-can Prancis yang dipopulerkan oleh Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec melalui lukisannya. Bertubuh sangat kurus, "terbiasa dengan gerakan tersentak-sentak dan putaran tiba-tiba", ia dijuluki La Mélinite, seperti sebuah ledakan.[1]
