Jean Richard

Jean Barthélémy Richard (7 Februari 1921 – 25 Januari 2021)[1] adalah seorang sejarawan Prancis yang mengkhususkan diri dalam sejarah abad pertengahan. Ia adalah pakar dalam bidang Perang Salib, dan karyanya tentang misi-misi Latin Asia terkualifikasi sebagai "tak terlampau".[2] Richard adalah anggota Institut de France. Ia menjadi Presiden Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres pada 2002. Richard meninggal pada 25 Januari 2021, dua minggu sebelum ulang tahunnya yang ke-100.[3][4]
