Jeff Scott Soto (lahir 4 November 1965) adalah penyanyi rock Amerika Serikat berdarah Puerto Riko.[1] Dia terutama dikenal saat menjadi vokalis pada dua album pertama gitaris neoklasikal Yngwie Malmsteen, selain sempat menjadi vokalis utama Journey selama setahun (2006-2007).
Soto juga menjadi vokalis band hard rock Talisman dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Saat ini dirinya lebih sering menjadi solois bersama band-nya SOTO, sekaligus terlibat dalam proyek-proyek supergrup W.E.T, Sons of Apollo, serta Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Gaya bernyanyinya banyak berkisar pada musik hard rock hingga power metal. Dirinya juga dipengaruhi oleh penyanyi soul klasik seperti Sam Cooke serta Steve Perry dari Journey, dan Freddie Mercury dari Queen .
Karier
Soto mulai dikenal namanya pada awal tahun 1980-an karena menjadi vokalis pada dua album studio pertama gitaris neoklasikal Yngwie Malmsteen. Selain terlibat di banyak band lain, Soto juga banyak membantu sebagai vokal latar untuk album-album Lita Ford, Steelheart, Stryper, dan Saigon Kick.
Soto juga menyumbangkan suaranya pada band fiksi Steel Dragon, yang terdiri dari Zakk Wylde, Jeff Pilson and Jason Bonham untuk soundtrack film Rock Star bersama vokalis Steelheart, Mike Matijevic.
