John Louis Esposito (lahir 19 Mei 1940) adalah seorang akademisi Amerika, profesor dari Timur Tengah dan studi agama, dan sarjana dari studi Islam.[1] Eposito menjabat sebagai Profesor Agama, Urusan Internasional, dan Kajian Islam di Georgetown University di Washington, DC Dia juga direktur pendiri Pusat Pangeran Alwaleed untuk Pemahaman Muslim–Kristen di Georgetown.
