John Kinsel Sr.

John Kinsel Sr. (22 Januari 1917 – 19 Oktober 2024) adalah seorang veteran Perang Dunia II asal Amerika Serikat yang merupakan bagian dari Navajo Code Talkers.[1] Ia meninggal dunia pada tanggal 19 Oktober 2024, dalam usia 107 tahun.[2]

Lahir di Cove, Arizona, Kinsel lulus dari sekolah menengah atas dan mendaftar di Marinir Amerika Serikat pada tahun 1942.[3] Sebagai seorang Pembicara Kode elit, ia bertugas dengan Resimen Marinir ke-9 dan Divisi Marinir ke-3 selama Pertempuran Iwo Jima.[4]
