Joseph Balderrama adalah seorang aktor asal Meksiko-Inggris. Di televisi, ia dikenal karena perannya dalam serial Netflix, Heartstopper (2022–sekarang) dan serial BritBox, Hotel Portofino (2023). Peran suaranya meliputi permainan video It Takes Two (2021) dan Diablo IV (2024).
Kehidupan awal
Balderrama lahir di Mexico City, putra dari ayah asal Meksiko dan ibu asal Amerika Serikat. Keluarganya pindah ke Inggris saat ia berusia sepuluh tahun. Ia bersekolah di Alleyn's School di Dulwich, menyelesaikan A-Level-nya pada tahun 1995. Ia juga belajar di Phillips Academy Andover selama di Alleyn's. Ia bergabung dengan National Youth Theatre. Ia lulus dengan gelar Magister Seni Skotlandia dalam Sejarah dari Universitas Glasgow pada tahun 1999, diikuti dengan diploma akting tiga tahun dengan beasiswa di London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) pada tahun 2002.[1][2]
