Journal of Contemporary History adalah jurnal ilmiah tinjauan sejawat triwulanan yang mencakup studi sejarah di seluruh belahan dunia sejak tahun 1930. Jurnal ini didirikan pada tahun 1966 oleh Walter Laqueur dan George L. Mosse. Awalnya diterbitkan oleh Weidenfeld & Nicolson, jurnal ini kemudian dibeli oleh SAGE Publications pada tahun 1972. Editor utamanya adalah Richard J. Evans (Universitas Cambridge) dan Mary C. Neuburger (Universitas Texas di Austin).
