Julida adalah sebuah ordo dari kaki seribu. Anggota sebagian besar kecil dan silindris, biasanya berkisar antara 10–120 milimeter panjangnya.[1] Matanya mungkin ada atau tidak ada. Pada jantan dewasa dari sebagian besar spesiesnya, sepasang kaki pertamanya dimodifikasi menjadi struktur seperti pengait.[2] Selain itu kedua pasang kaki pada segmen tubuh ke-7 jantan dimodifikasi menjadi gonopoda.[3]

Persebaran

Julida memiliki spesies yang hidup di daerah beriklim sedang mulai dari Amerika Utara hingga Panama, Eropa, Asia sebelah utara Pegunungan Himalaya, Provinsi 'Asir di Arab Saudi, dan Asia Tenggara.[4]
