Jumping the shark

Jumping the shark atau secara harfiah berarti melompati hiu adalah sebuah istilah tahun yang diciptakan Jon Hein pada tahun 1985 untuk mengomentari aksi Fonzie (Henry Winkler) dalam komedi situasi Happy Days melompati hiu saat melakukan olahraga ski air. Frasa ini kemudian berkembang menjadi ungkapan untuk upaya yang sebenarnya kreatif dan luar biasa sulit untuk mendapatkan perhatian publik, tetapi sudah tidak lagi populer.
