Kalonymus ben Kalonymus

Kalonymus ben Kalonymus ben Meir, juga dilatinisasi dengan nama Maestro Calo dan Qalonymos ben Qalonymos (lahir di Arles, 1286) adalah seorang filsuf dan penerjemah berbangsa Yahudi dari Provence (sekarang Prancis). Dia mempelajari filsafat dan literatur Rabinik di Thessaloniki, dengan guru Abba Mari ben Eligdor dan Moses ben Solomon dari Beaucaire. Dia juga mempelajari ilmu kedokteran walaupun sepertinya tidak pernah mempraktikkannya.[1]

Dia lahir dalam sebuah keluarga Yahudi yang terkemuka di Provence. Dia dan ayahnya memegang gelar "Nasi" (pangeran).[1]
