Kastel Bentheim
Kastel Bentheim (bahasa Jerman: Burg Bentheim) adalah kastil bukit Abad Pertengahan Awal di Bad Bentheim, Niedersachsen, Jerman. Kastil ini pertama kali disebutkan pada abad kesebelas dengan nama binithem. Kastil ini dibangun di atas jorokan batu pasir Bentheim, yang tidak hanya menyediakan bahan bangunan untuk kastil itu sendiri, tetapi juga merupakan produk ekspor yang berharga.[1] Bentheimer Höhenrücken ini adalah jorokan terakhir dari hutan Teutoburg di dekatnya.[2] Posisinya yang tinggi di lanskap yang sangat datar, memberikan pemandangan yang sangat bagus dan oleh karena itu merupakan lokasi yang strategis untuk membangun kastel.
