Katherine Boyer Waterston (lahir tanggal 3 Maret 1980)[1] merupakan seorang aktris Amerika Serikat. Ia pertama kali berperan dalam film Michael Clayton (2007). Ia berperan sebagai aktris pendukung dalam film Robot & Frank (2012), Being Flynn (2012) dan The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (2013) sebelum ia menjadi aktris utama sebagai Shasta Fay Hepworth dalam film Inherent Vice (2014). Pada tahun 2015, ia berperan sebagai Chrisann Brennan dalam film Steve Jobs. Ia berperan dalam prekuel serial film Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). Pada tahun 2017, ia berperan dalam film Alien: Covenant, prekuel serial film Alien.
Pendidikan dan latar belakang
Lahir di kota Westminster, London, ia merupakan putri dari Lynn Louisa (née Woodruff), mantan model Amerika Serikat, dan Sam Waterston, aktor Amerika Serikat yang pernah mendapatkan nominasi aktor terbaik Academy Award.[2] Orang tuanya bekerja setiap waktu.[3] Saudara kandungnya adalah aktris Elisabeth Waterston dan sutradara Graham Waterston.
