Kelompok warta
Kelompok warta (bahasa Inggris: Newsgroup) adalah kelompok diskusi maya di internet. Kelompok warta disalurkan melalui Usenet, jaringan kelompok diskusi warta.
Usenet menggunakan protokol NNTP (Network News Transfer Protocol). Kelompok warta dikelompokkan dalam subjek-subjek secara hierarkis dengan beberapa huruf pertama sebagai kategori subjek.
Sebagai contoh adalah: rec (rekreasi), soc (masyarakat), sci (sains), alt (alternatif), comp (komputer) dan lain-lain. Untuk menggunakan Newsgroup diperlukan aplikasi bernama news reader dan sambungan internet ke peladen warta (news server) terdekat.
