Kepulauan Foote

Kepulauan Foote (66°12′S 66°12′W / 66.200°S 66.200°W / -66.200; -66.200) adalah gugusan pulau berlapis salju dan beberapa batu yang terletak 12 mil laut (22 km) di tenggara Tanjung Leblond, Pulau Lavoisier di Crystal Sound. Kepulauan ini dipetakan melalui foto udara yang diambil oleh Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–48) dan survei Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1958–59). Namanya diberikan oleh UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee sebagai penghormatan untuk Brian L.H. Foote, mekanik radio FIDS di Arthur Harbour (1957) dan penyurvei di Pulau Detaille (1958); Foote melakukan survei di kawasan Crystal Sound.[1]
