Kijang daun[4] (Muntiacus putaoensis) adalah sebuah spesies kijang kecil.[5] Spesies ini didokumentasikan pada 1997 oleh biolog Alan Rabinowitz selama studi lapangannya di Kota Nogmung, Myanmar. Rabinowitz menemukan spesies ini dengan menelaah bangkai rusa kecil yang ia awalnya yakini sebagai anakan dari spesies lainnya. Namun, belakangan diketahui bahwa bangkai tersebut milik seekor dewasa betina.[5] Ia dapat mengumpulkan spesimen, yang dijadikan subjek analisis DNA, mengungkap spesies cervid baru. Pemburu lokal telah mengetahui spesies ini sebelumnya, yang mana spesies ini dikenal sebagai rusa daun karena tubuhnya dapat sepenuhnya ditutupi oleh satu daun besar.[5] Spesies ini ditemukan di Myanmar dan India.
