Lakban
Lakban (dari bahasa Belanda, plakband) adalah selotip atau pita perekat yang berukuran besar. Lakban dapat digunakan untuk pengemasan barang, alat bantu melindungi area tertentu ketika mengecat, melapis kabel listrik yang rentan, dan lain-lain.[1]
Lapisan
Lakban terdiri dari tiga lapisan,[1]
- lapisan terluar atau lapisan paling atas biasnaya terbuat dari polietilena. Lapisan ini diharapkan dapat melindungi sesuatu dari air, panas, debu dan semacamnya.
- lapisan tengah merupakan media yang dapat melekat secara sempurna dengan lapisan perekat
- lapisan bawah merupakan lapisan perekat, dapat berbahan dasar air, minyak dll.
