Lampriformes adalah sebuah ordo ikan bersirip kipas. Ikan sabuk dan Ikan opah termasuk ke dalam ordo ikan ini. Ordo ikan ini berisi tujuh famili ikan yang masih ada.[1]

Penamaannya berasal dari gabungan antara kata Lampris (genus tipe dalam ordo ini) dengan akhiran standar penamaan ordo ikan yakni "-formes". Penamaannya juga berasal dari gabungan antara kata dalam bahasa Yunani Kuno yakni lamprós (λαμπρός, "cerah") dengan kata Latin forma ("bentuk luar"). Penamaan dari kata lamprós dikarenakan warnanya yang cerah atau mengkilau.[2]
