Malapteruridae atau lele listrik adalah sebuah famili ikan lele (ordo Siluriformes). Famili ini mencakup dua genera, yaitu Malapterurus dan Paradoxoglanis, dengan 21 spesies.[1] Beberapa spesies dari famili ini memiliki kemampuan untuk menghasilkan listrik, menghasilkan kejutan hingga 350 volt dari organ listriknya.[2] Lele listrik dapat ditemukan di Afrika tropis dan Sungai Nil,[3] dan biasanya merupakan hewan nokturnal dan karnivora.[2] Beberapa spesies umumnya makan ikan lainnya, melumpuhkan mangsa dengan kejutan listriknya,[2] sementara beberapa lainnya adalah pemakan generalis didekat dasar air, memakan vertebrata, telur ikan dan detritus.[4] Lele listrik terbesar dapat tumbuh hingga 1.2 meter panjangnya, tetapi kebanyakan spesies jauh lebih kecil.[5][6]
