Lufengpithecus (Kera Lufeng) adalah sebuah genus kera punah, yang berasal dari zaman Miosen Akhir di Asia Timur. Genus tersebut diketahui dari ribuan sisa gigi dan sejumlah kecil tengkorak dan mungkin memiliki berat sekitar 50 kg (110 pon).[1] Genus tersebut terdiri dari tiga spesies: L. lufengensis, L. hudienensis dan L. keiyuanensis. Lufengpithecus lufengensis berasal dari Miosen Akhir yang ditemukan di Tiongkok,[2] named after the Lufeng site[2] dan tertanggal sekitar 6.2 Ma.[3] Lufengpithecus dianggap merupakan kelompok saudari dari Ponginae, atau saudari dari Ponginae dan Homininae.[4]
