Mesin Mazda seri-L adalah mesin bensin 4 segaris yang didesain oleh Mazda dengan silinder bervariasi mulai 1.8L sampai 2.5L. Diperkenalkan tahun 2001, mesin ini merupakan pengganti seri F. Seri-L juga digunakan Ford sebagai seri mesin 'Duratec' mereka.

Seri L menggunakan DOHC, 16-katup dengan konstruksi blok dari aluminium dan silinder besi tuang. Fitur lainnya adalah batang piston fracture-split forged powder metal dan poros engkol one-piece cast.
