Musik di video game tahun 2009 Minecraft, yang dikembangkan oleh Mojang Studios, sebagian besar terdiri dari dua album soundtrack karya musisi Jerman Daniel Rosenfeld, yang lebih dikenal sebagai C418. Komposer Amerika Lena Raine juga telah menyumbangkan musik untuk empat pembaruan utama gim tersebut sejak tahun 2020, bersama Aaron Cherof dan Kumi Tanioka yang mengerjakan soundtrack untuk versi terbaru pada tahun 2024. Minecraft – Volume Alpha

Album pertama dari soundtrack permainan, Minecraft – Volume Alpha, dirilis secara digital pada 4 Maret 2011 secara independen oleh Rosenfeld.[1][2] Pada bulan Juni 2015, rekaman tersebut menerima penekanan pertamanya ke vinil dan CD melalui label rekaman Amerika Ghostly.[3] Pada tahun 2022, album ini dinominasikan untuk Top Dance/Electronic Album di Billboard Music Awards.[4]

Pada 10 April 2020, diumumkan bahwa Lena Raine adalah komposer musik untuk "Nether Update" dalam game tersebut.[6] Mengenai urutan tiga lagu soundtrack barunya, Raine mengklaim bahwa dia "ingin setiap bagiannya terasa seperti perkembangan emosi, atau perjalanan dari satu tempat ke tempat lain di dunia lain ini."[7] Extended play (EP) tersebut juga berisi cakram musik dalam game baru, "Pigstep", yang memiliki dua campuran berbeda pada versi soundtrack, dirilis pada 14 Juni 2020.[8] Tidak seperti album Rosenfeld yang dirilis secara independen, karya Raine dimiliki dan diterbitkan melalui Microsoft Studios Music.
