NGC 71 adalah galaksi elips yang terletak di konstelasi Andromeda. Galaksi tersebut berada di grup NGC 68. Galaksi ini ditemukan oleh R. J. Mitchell pada tahun 1855, dan diamati pada tahun 1865 oleh Heinrich d'Arrest, yang menggambarkannya sebagai "galaksi yang sangat redup, sangat kecil, dan bulat".[3] Galaksi tersebut berukuran sekitar 110.000-130.000 tahun cahaya, membuatnya sedikit lebih besar dari Bima Sakti. Galaksi tersebut merupakan yang terbesar kedua dalam kelompok NGC 68, setelah galaksi spiral NGC 70.
