NTSC
National Television System Committee (bahasa Indonesia: Komite Sistem Televisi Nasional), disingkat NTSC adalah sistem televisi analog yang digunakan di sebagian besar Amerika (kecuali Brasil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay dan Guyana Prancis), Burma, Korea Selatan, Taiwan, Jepang, Filipina, dan beberapa negara pulau Pasifik dan sekitarnya (lihat pada peta).
Standar NTSC pertama kali dikembangkan pada tahun 1941 dan tidak memiliki ketentuan untuk televisi berwarna. Pada tahun 1953 standar NTSC kedua diadopsi, yang memungkinkan untuk siaran televisi berwarna yang kompatibel dengan pesawat penerima. NTSC adalah diadopsi secara luas dengan sistem warna siaran pertama dan tetap dominan sampai 2010-an, ketika secara bertahap digantikan dengan standar digital yang berbeda seperti ATSC dan lain-lain.
