Nahum Tate (/ˈneɪ.əm ˈteɪt/ 1652 – 30 Juli 1715) adalah seorang penyair, pembuat himne dan pembuat lirik asal Irlandia, yang menjadi poet laureate Inggris pada 1692. Tate dikenal karena The History of King Lear, adaptasi tahun 1681 buatannya dari King Lear karya Shakespeare.
